A District Court judge has sentenced one of three teenagers over the torture of a 13-year-old that was filmed and uploaded to social media. Sentencing for one of the girls has been delayed due to her arrest.

In short: A Noosa teenager has been arrested in the middle of her sentencing hearing for her part in the torture of a schoolgirl.

Three girls were arrested last March for the incident at a house at Tewantin in the Noosa Shire that was filmed and went viral on Tik Tok.

What’s next? The eldest offender will reappear in court on April 22. A 12-year-old co-accused of the torture is expected to face court next month.
