I guess there has been a Google maps update. I relied on this for public transport trip planning. I’m baffled as to how to do this anymore. Anyone got any ideas?

    For NSW, i use transportnsw.info. There’s probably an app too. I’d reckon it’s the source that Google uses. Why tell Google where you are and where you’re going? They have enough of your data already.

    Can also show you if something is running late on your trip etc. ie realtime updates. May not be for everything, but does it for buses, trains in my area, and has done it for ferries I’ve been on.

      I used to use the opal app. I think I uninstalled it because at the time it was not as reliable as Google maps.

      Before this current phone I had a moto with LineageOS and an app called Transportr which had access to NSW public transport schedules etc. It worked ok at the time.

      I got old and gave up on trying to degoogle my life tho.
