The full transcript undercuts Hurā€™s claims that Biden could not remember his sonā€™s death and had ā€œpoorā€ memory

The full transcript of President Joe Bidenā€™s five-hour interview with special counsel Robert Hurā€™s investigators ā€œpaints a more nuanced portraitā€ of Bidenā€™s memory than the special counselā€™s report, according to The Washington Post, which noted that ā€œBiden doesnā€™t come across as being as absent-minded as Hur has made him out to be.ā€

The transcript ā€œcould raise questions about Hurā€™s depiction of the 81-year-old president as having ā€˜significant limitationsā€™ on his memory,ā€ according to The Associated Press.

Hur in his report declined to charge Biden, arguing that it would be difficult to convince a jury to convict with a memory that the special counsel described as ā€œfaultyā€ and ā€œpoor,ā€ noting that Biden could not recall when his son Beau died or when he served as vice president.

But Biden said exactly when his son died in the interview.

My favorite moment of the 2020 campaign was during the debate, Trump was mudslinging something or other about Hunter and Biden full on stopped, looked dead into the camera, and made it explicitly clear how much he cared for his son and would support him through his problems. It was a great thing to see.

Itā€™s a tie with the time when Trump was trumpeting and Biden basically said ā€œwhatever, manā€ and shut him down like a parent to a goofy child.

But I think Iā€™m having trouble remembering the details, so 1) Iā€™m out as prez and 2) anyone remind me?
