The resulting map shows huge swaths of deeply disadvantaged locations across the nation’s 3,000 counties, places that are mostly located outside of the largest U.S. cities yet which share some traits: A history of resource extraction, unequal educational opportunities, a breakdown of social bonds, violence and local corruption.
My thoughts were the same.
Like no shit poor people are going to have a lower life expectancy.
Then I see OPs comment. I can’t say I’m surprised.
To some people all the worlds problems belong to one political party, it’s just their worldview. Republicans are just as guilty. Republicans act like you’re oppressing them if you express yourself in any way they don’t approve of.
I got called a Nazi by multiple people on a non political sub the other day because I said I was left on social issues but was right on some economic issues.
Like I said, either way it’s very closed minded imo.
