Hi! I suggested to our lovely mod @[email protected] about starting a WIP (Work in Progress) Wednesday thread. That way we don’t have to wait until we’re fully done with a project to share it and we can encourage each other along the way 😄

Feel free to add to this thread with what you’re currently working on 😊

I had to reaaally dig up a picture, as I’m the one with the ideas but actually really bad at taking WIP pictures as I usually knit late at night 😅

This was my first try at knitting in the round and even though every pattern warns about not twisting your stitches I actually didn’t realize what it meant until I was several rows into my work. In the spirit of Bob Ross I decided to just roll with it, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents!

Pattern is the Meila Cowl from Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/meila-cowl

Yarn used is Colors by Reves Derecho in #0837 (DK weight) and 5mm circular needles (unknown brand, my mother had them in her stash lol).

When I started it I was like: “How hard can it be to knit like two zigzags a day?” But once you miss a few days it all starts to pile up. I’m at the point where I’m okay with it just taking as long as it takes.

I tried to do a temperature cross stitch once, made it about a month in before I gave up completely and that was only doing about ten stitches a day! Absolute respect for even attempting a knitted version.
