Faaark. Early yesterday morning I finally got around to ordering a new phone after my last one was broken on Friday. It was due to be shipped today, which is perfect because I kinda need a working phone this evening.
Well, just now I checked my email and noticed that:
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel and refund your order…as it did not meet our customer privacy and security standards when shopping with Officeworks.
What the fuck Officeworks‽ I ordered through your website. What the fuck is insecure about that‽
The broken phone was a Pixel 6 Pro, which was originally bought from Google.
The replacement was meant to be a Pixel 7a, which Officeworks had for over $100 less than the Google store.
I’ve now bought a Pixel 7a from JBHifi, who have it for just a couple of dollars more than Officeworks (and still $100 less than Google). Gotta go pick it up soon as I did click-and-collect rather than pay—and wait—for shipping.

Get a Pixel bruv, buy from Google Store, acquire credit for Google products.
