mother in christ the US is the wealthiest country in the world and it’s half empty. a hundred million refugees could arrive and the US could (in theory, if it wasnt a genocidal neoliberal shell of a state) simply settle them somewhere.
this has precedent, see: European immigration to the Americas, where over 60 million Europeans migrated to the Americas, and 32 million migrated to the United States alone between 1821 and 1932 (nearly 300 thousand a year)
