That’s a really interesting way to implement split screen, I wonder if it’ll catch on in any capacity.
I do think however that while the interpolation between perspectives looks cool, I can’t imagine it being much more than a gimmick or a distraction depending on the type of game. The post uses Halo split screen as an example of traditional split screen, imagine how disorienting that interpolation between the perspectives would be in a fast paced first person game like that, motion sickness incoming!
