I’ve been wondering this too. I live in Australia and don’t use Amazon, only tried once (and they screwed me over), and don’t know very many people who do.

For low power and low value/importance products I don’t need urgently, I order from AliExpress. For things that go into a wall or are somewhat high value or I need within a week or so, I go to eBay. For things I need urgently, are important, or I just don’t trust a company without a physical store for, I go to officeworks, Kmart or similar. Either delivered (within a couple of days) or click and collect (within a couple of hours)
