They weren’t aware of how much Spanish I spoke, or at least used to - I’m not much for talking Spanish anymore but I still understand enough to get by. Long story short, there was an MLM who started moving in the same circles as them and the scorn they had when they spoke to their partner in Spanish within earshot of me about the Senderista spoke volumes to me.
