    Around GamerGate I saw several silly diatribes from grown men who whined about having been made fun of in school for liking insert nerd thing here and going all pronounjak-rage about hot girls who would not have given them the time of day when they were in high school getting to appropriate their “culture”

    Equating being bullied for liking Star Trek to being a minority data-laughing

      But seriously, it’s why I’m trying to slowly but surely replace my gamer identity with learning art and music, because a lot of artists and musicians will consider themselves genuine outcasts and thus be more chill about me being LGBT. “Whoa, mainstream society thinks you’re weird?
