A large hole has been ripped in the hull of the Cook Strait ferry Kaiarahi - the second ferry to damaged in a week.

    I think the vast majority of people will be looking at two things:

    1. Which is cheaper
    2. Which is scheduled at a time that suits them

    I’d guess very few people look further than those two things.
