In my defense it turns out a forethought heel is just not the heel for me! Didn’t even know there were different options at the time, though 😅
What heel is for you? I’m all about German short rows. So much so that i’ve been making a German short row pinwheel blanket… with sock yarn… it’s basically a never ending garter stitch short row heel.
Can’t go wrong with a classic heel flap & gusset. I do have some more exciting options on my to-knit list though, @[email protected] over on Mastodon just put out a free pattern with a very interesting looking heel variation (toot here) and it’s gone straight onto my queue!
