Depending on what you’re looking for “girly” could fit.

Ex. If a macho man is a “manly man” (which I don’t think is entirely accurate because I think the concept of machismo is much more complex than that), then a “girly girl” would kind of be the equivalent?

Alternately, “femme” can be used to mean kind of the same thing but more respectfully since “girly” has a rather childish connotation. “Ultra femme” or “High femme” can be used to describe someone that strives for or is the peak of feminity but then… defining what that means is a whole other thing that’s probably just as complex as defining Macho/ Machismo.

Not sure if this helps but I wish you luck in your search for the word.

Spanish gave us the word machismo, and it also conveniently has its opposite, hembrismo. So, yeah, I’d go with that, myself.

Depends on what you think the equivalent behaviour is.

If macho is the limited and stereotypical image of manhood than possible it is trad wife.

But that is only one interpretation.

You might want to tread carefully here. Because it’s highly likely that you’re thinking of the traditional representation in media of women, which is typically held by men. A clueless, helpless, beautiful, innocent “Madonna and whore.” It seemed like you were asking (and getting answers for) the women’s version of “macho” culture (which is typically, these days, mixed into the “alpha male” culture). The other side of that same coin would be the “trad wife” thing where women believe they should be under a man’s direction, a wife first and a person second.

Just saying we might not be having the same conversation.

There’s no mirror image? Machismo is an insecurity based on sexist ideas of male supremacy and the fear of some men that they don’t match up to it, so they need to shout about how very manly they are, honest.

You could probably identify something like the tradwives movement as (some) women asserting how incredibly happy they are to be domestic serfs but it’s not really a mirror image of machismo so much as an acquiescence to it and the need to defend that acquiescence.
