??? Moriquendi (Dark Elves) were elves who never sailed to Aman and never seen the Trees, which is most of Middle-earth elves. Legolas was a Moriquendi for example. The only ME elves who weren’t considered so were Noldors.

wut? there were dark elves during the first, second and third ages, and even in the first century or two of the fourth age. i dont get it.
