It will interesting to see what the conclusion is. If no consequences come of it I think that would effectively send the message that they do find such behaviour acceptable.
As I said there was a crowd, people were recording. The assailant was most likely instantly identified and pointed out to the police. The fact that they are supposedly investigating for a week says they aren’t going to take this seriously.
