      Nope, I work in a facility that’s 24 hour staffed. Holidays don’t really apply to us. This was actually the first year I’ve even had Christmas off in like 5 years.

        Want some help organizing a union? Paid holidays are something you can bargain for in a union contract, and I’m an experienced organizer

      A lot of service workers don’t get New Years Day off, despite it being a federal holiday in the US.

      The dollars must flow, or something like that.

        Being a federal holiday doesn’t mean shit in a country with the worst worker protections i the semi-developed world. No mandated holiday pay, no mandated vacations, just shut up and work
