Community not populating - Aussie Zone

I had subscribed to this community [https://lemmy.fmhy.ml/c/general_discussion] earlier in the day and came back to see if it had been populated, but for some reason it has had trouble with just this one community, with others in the instance loading fine.

I had subscribed several hours ago and so far only 2 posts have been pulled, with not all comments.

Completely unsure on what could be the issue and I have posted in the above mentioned instances meta community as it is most likely local. But I thought I should post here as well, in case anyone else knows the answer to the incomplete community pull.

Other communities from the FMHY instance appear to be fine. Here is the screenshot;

    afaik a community only starts to push new posts after someone from that instance has subscribed to it.

    this community was probably subscribed to pretty late on that instance, hence only recent posts are shown.

      Yeah, it shouldn’t be like that because it makes federating almost unusable. I already have my own complaints on how federating works and not pulling older posts doesn’t help.
