You aren’t allowed to carry a knife above a certain length without a valid reason.
I’ve carried much larger knives without any issue because I had a valid reason. Even a machete is fine if you’re actually using it for its intended purpose.
For some reason I thought it was 7.5cm but length isn’t mentioned here at all. Still having a valid reason means the majority of knives are fine, exceptions being something like a stilleto knife which has no valid use in peace time.

Any ideas what length is legal? I guess majority of knifes in my kitchen are longer than that.
