From the very beginning we’ve know that the war in Ukraine would turn on not just battlefield outcomes and bravery, but policy decisions made in foreign capitals.
With the election of Donald Trump, it’s clear that US policy in Ukraine is about to shift. What is less clear is how and what the results will be.
And so today we discuss the closing moves of the Biden presidency and what some of the objectives and challenges might be for the Trump administration regarding Ukraine in 2025.
One can always hope that Ukraine appeals to Trump’s ego. “You know that enormous bomb, the biggest non-nuclear one in the world? Wouldn’t it be AWESOME if you let us drop it? Everyone would think you’re a super tough guy.”
Dealing with weaker men like Biden has made Putin forget his place. We shouldn’t be wasting time talking and wringing our hands wondering what he will do. He should be worried about what we will do. See his mouthpieces threatening the destruction of the US on state tv? Now that we have a strong leader like you stepping into the white house he wouldn’t dare allow such a statement to air.
The only thing strong about Trump is the smell coming from his diapers.
