Update: He’s definitely dead. According to the NYT:

The Israeli military confirmed that Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, was killed on Wednesday. His body was definitively identified by the Israeli authorities, the military said.

Israel isn’t just going to stop their genocide. There’s no future for Palestinians while Israel is allowed to murder and rape unimpeded. These monsters have been shooting goddamn children in the head. They do not deserve any future.

The dentals match. They compared it to the xrays they had of when he was treated in an Israeli prison.
But I guess they want to be 100% sure with the DNA test.

Realistically, there are only two parties that can report this, Hamas/ Iran and Israel.

So, who do you believe in to get the news about the current events related to this war?

Letting anyone inside a war zone is a very bad idea. This is why war zones called war zones. Anyone inside a war zone is in an official life danger.

You act like war reporting doesn’t have a rich history. This isn’t a new concept.

Only one county in the past ~50 years or so has become known for targeting clearly-delineated journalists in war zones.

Well maybe two since the US did it at least once in Afghanistan. But once isn’t a pattern.

Very true, I’m certain those who go into war zones are aware of the dangers posed to them. Keeping conflict journalists out despite their knowledge of and willingness to brave those dangers is suspect.

And it totally has nothing to do with the huge # of third party journalists that have been killed by the IDF already despite incredibly clear press markings. It’s almost like the IDF wants the ability to control the narrative or something…

And when said reporters die in said war zones, the whole world: “Israel indiscriminately kills reporters”

Make up your mind. You can allow people to enter and risk their lives in war zone even though it’s mega dangerous, but don’t blame solely one side of a war for the deaths of said reporters. Because that’s clearly shows your bias.

Yes, when Israel is the one who shoots, bombs or attacks them.
