    Holy moley! Parra 28-4.

Where was this a couple of weeks ago when they were fighting to be in the eight?

And the Warriors stay alive! Next week, they need to beat Penrith, and the Roosters to beat Souths. Or the Knights to lose both their games. I think…

2 more HIAs for Billy Smith & Radley. Radley had a nasty cut from a head clash too

    Costly win.

Interesting. If Canberra lose next week away to Sharks, and if one of Souths v Roosters AND Cowboys win, the Raiders will be out because they have the worst for/against

I was very worried about the Canberra match for Brisbane, very lucky to escape with a win to get one hand on the minor premiership. The refereeing was horrendous both ways. 6 against galore, pathetic penalties galore - most of which went our way. The one for taking out cobbo on the drop out was absolutely atrocious, and gee that sin bin on Rapana was weak - and that completely turned the game in our favour. Snuffed out any hope Canberra had.

Now to Melbourne…….and if we win, then we play Melbourne again in the first round of the finals assuming the warriors beat the dolphins. I doubt there’s a season where we beat the storm twice, let alone in back to back weeks, so gonna be a tough challenge.

I haven’t been this excited about a finals series in a long time, it’s almost a new feeling. The broncos haven’t realistically been a premiership threat apart from 2015 and 2011, since 2002. The thought of us taking the whole thing out this year has me so nervous/excited. I’ve seen all of our premierships but there would be something special about winning this one.

Didn’t look to be the Broncos best, but I was surprised at how hard the Raiders played. I expected them to not be able to match it with the Broncs for as long as they did.

Broncos still look the best team to stop the Panthers to me. So much depends on injuries. Really hope all the teams stay healthy. I always want to see the best playing the biggest games.

Yeh the raiders were up for it, which is good to see heading into the finals. The broncos kept them in the game however through their atrocious handling - completion rate was around 50% at half time, just unforced errors galore.

I don’t think we can win against the panthers without Reynolds. His kicking game is too important, and his goal kicking. 2/6 I believe staggs got.

I think earliest Broncos could meet Panthers is Prelim finals (3rd week) so hopefully Reynolds would be all good by then.

Roosters up 14-8, but Manu did his hammy.

Unlikely he’ll be available for South’s next week.

Walker off with a HIA. Looked like a Cat 1, which would mean he misses Souths game next week too…

The for and against are fairly far apart for all teams, so if my calculations are correct, to make the final eight:

    • Raiders: win v Sharks OR Cowboys lose
    • Rabbitohs: win v Roosters OR Cowboys lose
    • Cowboys: win v Panthers AND Raiders or Rabbitohs lose
    • Roosters: win v Rabbitohs AND Raiders or Cowboys lose

Could be wild as Panthers and Sharks might be resting players
