Why? I’ve worked on over 1000 phones, and never have I seen a screen protector interfere with touch sensitivity. Not even if it was a redneck packing tape protector on a broken screen.
Now the wet fingers thing makes sense though, but is it really as effective as they claim?
I have, not often, but I have. That being said, Samsung phones have had a similar setting since at least the S7 series.
