This is a good example of why the “weird” calling of the right is so effective. People on the left doesn’t mind being called weird, in fact many takes pride in it, it is what drives counterculture.

For right wingers everything is about fitting in and living up to their idealised 1940s standards. They are absolutely terrified of not belonging to their in-group, so it hits them right where it hurts, while their opponents are completely immune to it.

I don’t know anybody advocating for surgery for kids or late-term abortions. I also don’t know any conservatives advocating for “energy independence” but privatization, which is different. Kamala agrees with securing the border and creating jobs, though. This is so weak and weird.

I am fine with late term abortions and we should have them as an option. They make up about 1% of abortions. These are abortions that happen after 21 weeks and can include reasons like:

-fetus abnormalities in the brain that cannot be caught until the third trimester or even doctors not fully disclosing severities because they are pro-life,

-unwanted pregnancy to a woman that didn’t know she was pregnant until later on,

-finances changing or even relationships changing

-barriers preventing women from getting abortions (financial such as not having enough money to pay out of pocket or having to travel out of state which frequently required both more money and multiple visits because of policy)

You can read more here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9321603/

I’ve also read a separate study I cannot find that included women who were addicted to drugs wanting an abortion but addiction made it complicated to get an abortion early on.

But anyway the reason doesn’t matter to me at this point, the conversation should be between a woman and her doctor, not politicians.

Late term abortions aren’t even a thing. If the fetus is viable to survive outside the womb, or has a chance to be viable, it’s just a c section. This whole narrative that anyone kills viable babies is completely made up.

Not entirely accurate. Late-term abortions are a thing, but it’s almost always a case of either some birth defect incompatible with life, or the life of the mother being at significant risk. In situations where abortion was always a realistic option, late-term abortions are almost always abortions for pregnancies that were wanted.

There has been one case I can recall from the last two decade or so of a single doctor performing post-viability abortions, and he ended up being criminally charged.

His sign doesn’t include “People without children should have fewer votes than those who have bred”, “women should not be able to divorce their husband unless they are abused and can prove it in court”, and “drinking diet mountain dew does NOT make you a racist.” Are those ideas a little too weird to make your point, Mr. Political Comic Artist?

Even in the cartoons supporting him Vance looks like a miserable crabapple of a man wearing too much eyeliner.

i always wear my vote woke dress and put on my vance and kam sticker.

tangent, but I hate political cartoons that need to use labels. If you gotta label your art, then you’re shit. who is that woman with the hair, long face, suit and finger and calling people weird? i just don’t know who that is. oh wait, the sticker, it’s kam!

Okay, but I actually can’t tell who the third thing I’m supposed to be angry at is because they aren’t holding a sign. Elderly women pilots? I’m so lost.

Needs more Red Scare. Perhaps a few Red Army fur hats, or give the drag queen a Marxy beard or something, to suggest that they’re going to put red-blooded Christian patriots in the gulags right after drag queen story time.

I always hate that this guy’s crappy political cartoons sometimes crawl into the “this week’s political cartoons” posts various news outlets have. They tend to tilt right anyway though, I guess since only old folks tend to care about political cartoons.
