More time has passed between the beginnings of the Great Wall of China and its completion to what we know today, than the start of Christianity and today.

Yeah and there are many trees in California older than Christianity as well as… well, entire civilizations around the world and lots of built environments and buildings as well.
On the scale of human history, Christianity isn’t that old.
Probably just a fad.
We can only hope
I thought it was interesting that the building itself took place over such a long period.
And yes, Christianity isn’t that old, but it’s an interesting frame of reference compared to “the construction of the Great Wall of China took place over approximately 2300 years”.
Also, sharks are older than trees.
Rocks are older than sharks. 😄
But my point was that there is no single shark that is older than the oldest trees. I.e., there are trees that were alive before Christianity that are still currently living. Unless you know something about sharks that I don’t, that’s not true of any given shark.
Well, there are those Greenland sharks that live basically forever…
As in 3000-years-long forever?
Living ones?
