All this suggests is that the Russians tried to divert left leaning voters away from Clinton by boosting Stein’s candidacy. There is zero evidence there that Stein was contacted by Russia or even aware of the way in which her campaign was being hijacked.

You did not present evidence of that. If she was paid for by Russia, you don’t think that would be front page news? Come on, now…

Stein traveled to Russia in 2015 and attended a dinner hosted by RT, a Russian television network, and was photographed at the same table as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

OH MY GOD!! She actually was photographed at the same table. OMG! Wow! You know she was running before al the russian nonsense, right?

She also talked about it: A campaign spokesperson told Newsweek that Stein “attended at her own expense to spread a message of peace and diplomacy” and gave a speech in Moscow “in which she criticized the excessive militarism of both Vladimir Putin and U.S. leaders.” https://www.newsweek.com/jill-stein-ties-vladimir-putin-explained-1842620

IF there were concrete evidence that she was on the Russian payroll, then every news org in the nation would have it be front page news. And it’d be the end of her career. And lots of people would like to see her go away.

So if you have hard evidence, you should send that to the major news orgs. That’d be major news.

She had dinner with Putin in Russia. He is a Russian. I am not sure how you could read that article and somehow skip that part.

Note, I am speaking merely of affiliation. Alliance, if you will. Though there could be some dark money flowing towards her campaign as some sort of compensation, money can flow into a super PAC without being disclosed ever since Citizen’s United. We usually don’t know who pays for super PACs, basically. Since this remains unknown, it would not be safe to assume it either is or is not happening.

I am not talking about any speeches she made. I am talking about a dinner and conversation with Vladimir Putin. Giving a speech while she is there does not surprise me.

Note, she does not have to be on anyone’s “payroll”, this is childish. Trump is not on Putin’s payroll, he simply likes dictators and so he helps them.

Also, I highly doubt it would be major news. Relatively few people really care about Jill Stein in the mainstream.

I am talking about a dinner and conversation with Vladimir Putin.

So that means she is Putin’s puppet? She explained why she was there. She doesn’t agree with Putins values. She has her own platform that she’s running on. And i like her platform, so I am voting for her.

Relatively few people really care about Jill Stein in the mainstream.

So then you have no worries about it then. And you shouldn’t be concerned that I’m voting for her. Because “few people really care” about her, right? Right?

Funny how her claimed reason came shortly after Putin stepped up his bombings in Syria, and at a celebration of RT news, one of their main propaganda outlets. I wonder why she declined to discuss the Russian hydrocarbon industry, you’d think a Green would be interested in that.

Here’s the photo, by the way:

Correct, I do not care who you vote for. But I do care that you are aware who is and is not in contact with the Russians.

I don’t know. Maybe you should ask her. Email her site and have that discussion.

Correct, I do not care who you vote for.

Good! Then see, you have nothing to worry or be upset about.

But I do care that you are aware who is and is not in contact with the Russians.

I don’t have to hate the Russians, tho. This is American, I can like or dislike whoever I please. I am ambivalent in regards to the Russians. I don’t care who has contact with them.

Talking to a Russian isn’t illegal, nor should it be.

You do realise that we have a communist party in the US too? Not illegal either.

I order stuff from Russia on eBay. They have great watch. And great math books. And awesome stamps. They are great in some disciplines. OMG does that mean I am in collusion with the Russian Commies?!

Not a very good Green if you support Russian invasions fueled by massive hydrocarbon sales, are you?

And don’t be childish, you know a public figure is too busy for email conversations with a random online person.

Lastly, Russia is not communist, that was the USSR.

You mean I’m not a very good Green in YOUR opinion.

She explained why she was there. To newsweek.

Lastly, Russia is not communist, that was the USSR.

                    Good point! It’s a federal semi-presidential republic.
