A Queensland coroner says a catastrophic fire that claimed a young man's life in 2022 was "most likely" caused by an e-scooter being connected to a charger that caused it to overheat and explode.
The man, named only as Tyson, was asleep with his pregnant girlfriend Jade inside a camper trailer on his grandmother’s Logan property, when the explosion occurred late in the evening of March 21, 2022.

Dang… I always charge unsupervised. But I have a timer to turn off the charger after a set time.
