Hi all,

I was able to sign up no problem, but when I try to log in on a private browsing window the button just turns into a spinning icon that continues forever…

I figured I’d try logging out and logging back in, but I couldn’t log out.

I finally just wiped the cookies for the site, which of course meant I was no longer logged in, and couldn’t log in.

I could, however, reset my password (N.B. you of course need to have set an email to be able to do that), and that logged me back in.

So it seems something is amiss with the session-management.

Happy to provide more info if it helps.

Anyone experiencing similar issues?

    Yeah, there have been reports from people on different instances with similar issues. Not exactly sure what the cause is, but I understand the devs are aware.

    Had the same happen to me at home, so i am only logged in at work… what a shame. Can anyone guide me on how to log into Jerboa, can i use the aussie.zone instance or do i need to make another account?

      I just waited and the next morning it worked on other computers and on Jerboa.

      Yeah, you just have to type aussie.zone into the ‘Instance’ box on the Jerboa login screen.

        Might want to put an FAQ about this somewhere easy to find. It seems obvious now that you’ve said it but I was using the dropdown menu in the app to try each instance unsuccessfully. This probably won’t seem obvious to new users of the platform.
