    The first fall is nearly always the first obvious sign it is the beginning of the end for the elderly. :(

      Certainly can be. Falls that lead to permanent disability, or loss of function are “sentinel events.” Hip fractures are really a bad sign specifically. Like, so bad that you gotta square away wills and end of life care.

        Yep my wife is an xray tech. Old people and broken hips are a very bad combo. They usually die from complications associated with it.
