Hello everyone, thank you in advance for reading this.
I installed Ubuntu server on a friends laptop, and now they’re having issues because I screwed up.
They live in another state so I can’t just go there and fix it, so I need to figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it in the simplest, fastest and safest way, but I’m unfamiliar with logical volumes.
What the hell is going on?
I believe I need to increase the lvm to fill the size of the partition using this command:
sudo lvresize -l +100%FREE --resizefs ububtu–vg/ubuntu–lv
Is that right? Also, why is the mount point for that drive /var/snap/firefox/common/host-hunspell ?
Extra context:
!I was rushed to set up this server because I was only staying for one night. I assumed wiping the HDD would utilize all of the disk, but it seems to have halved by default. Also I was drunk so take pity on me!<
