Most Americans (86%) think President Joe Biden is too old to serve another term as president, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll.

According to the poll, conducted using Ipsos’ Knowledge Panel, 86% of Americans think Biden, 81, is too old to serve another term as president. That figure includes 59% of Americans who think both he and former President Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner, are too old and 27% who think only Biden is too old.

Sixty-two percent of Americans think Trump, who is 77, is too old to serve as president. There is a large difference in how partisans view their respective nominees – 73% of Democrats think Biden is too old to serve but only 35% of Republicans think Trump is too old to serve. Ninety-one percent of independents think Biden is too old to serve, and 71% say the same about Trump.

Concerns about both candidates’ ages have increased since September when an ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 74% of Americans thought Biden – the oldest commander in chief in U.S. history – was too old to serve another term as president, and 49% said the same about Trump.

The poll also comes days after the Senate failed to advance a bipartisan foreign aid bill with major new border provisions.

Americans find there is blame to go around on Congress’ failure to pass legislation intended to decrease the number of illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border – with about the same number blaming the Republicans in Congress (53%), the Democrats (51%) and Biden (49%). Fewer, 39%, blame Trump.

More Americans trust that Trump would do a better job of handling immigration and the situation at the border than Biden – 44%-26% – according to the poll.

So that bipartisan border bill stunt was terrible policy, and it doesn’t seem to have done anything for the Democratic party politically

    Yes, obviously he is joking, and anyone with half a brain can see that. Closing the border doesn’t make you a dictator. If trump gets elected it’s in large part due to people wanting the border to actually be enforced/closed.

    Did you forget about the 91 indictments, 22 relates to him doing actually fascism?

    Which ones do you think relate to fascism?

    The cases where he already currently lost and owe 447million dollars(and counting).

    Firstly, nothing to do with fascism. Secondly, everyone knows that civil suit is a joke. The banks - the ones that the government are saying were defrauded - literally testified that Trump did nothing wrong. The entire case was over before it began because the judge, who openly hates and wants to “get” trump, chose a valuation that’s easily only about 1/10th at the maximum of the true value of the property to go off. From there the ruling was merely a formality because he had decided that a property worth realistically over $300mil was only worth $18mil.

    That decision will get overturned on appeal, even if it has to go to the supreme court or however high it can go, because it’s an absolute joke.

      Well, it seems like you think this entire thing is a joke. Like that time he joked about injecting bleach, which has killed someone who tried it, or when he joked about the vaccine he helped create and took himself is a poison that can in fact kill people.

      That’s the thing homie. His “jokes” have already killed people. Those braindead people you’re talking about are listening to his “jokes” and dying.

      So you can continue to try and read between the lines. But when he says he will be a dictator, yo homie, I’m taking it at face value.

        The joke he made about “being a dictator just for one day” was clearly a joke, correct.

        Like that time he joked about injecting bleach

        Again, another clear joke. If anyone did that and died then the gene pool is better for it.

        But when he says he will be a dictator, yo homie, I’m taking it at face value.

        He also said “for one day”, not for his whole term, and just to close the border. Do you not want a secure border? You enjoying the millions of illegal immigrants ruining your country?
