    I don’t like those clauses either, but it feels like you’re grasping at straws here. Almost every main stream website or service will have similar clauses. I’d wager close to 100% of websites owned and run by companies/corporations sell some amount of your data to someone, and a lot of websites run by a regular person will at least collect it, or have embedded resources/scripts which do (google analytics, CloudFlare, etc).

    If you refuse to use and actively boycott every website, app, or service which has unfair clauses in their EULAs or ToS, you won’t have many websites left. And if you expand that to websites which use other services that collect your personal info, you should get off kbin and the rest of the internet
