Does anyone here run Plex for parasitic hangers-on family members, and use any of the Cleanarr / Maintainarr / other janitor scripts for keeping your library under control?
I do, however I don’t use any janitor scripts. My install is pretty default, I don’t think I even use any plugins at all.
What would be the use case for those scripts?
Run Plex with a full arr suite, but just manually yeet older stuff on occasion , but have 100TB active storage on that machine so not really fused about hoarding on it
I’m a video guy by trade, got me a collection of purpose built Nas machines, but this particular box is one of the mid sized Synology units, love the thing for what it is tbh.

Mostly to delete old content no one has accessed in xxx days (for example 2 years), or that everyone has watched after 90 days or whatever.
They’ll only clean if you’re running out of space, it just takes some of the manual intervention out of things.
Fair enough. I usually hoard all my media, so the thought of deleting stuff never really crossed my mind.

Dang, how’d you get to 100TB? I’ve physically run out of space to fit the hard drives in my case.
And here I thought I was being overkill with 50TB 😳
