I have incurable cancer (multiple myeloma), I’ll be surprised if I make it that far.

I feel you. My dad has his cancer diagnosis. MML is his best care scenario but we do not have the Dx on that.
You hang in there and see you in 5 years! It may be bleak, but there is always hope.
