Australians have resoundingly rejected a proposal to recognise Aboriginal people in its constitution and establish a body to advise parliament on Indigenous issues.

Saturday’s voice to parliament referendum failed, with the defeat clear shortly after polls closed.

      No, they didn’t have an indigenous voice behind their decisions before. Now they would have.

          You’re getting mixed up. Seems to be a common thing with you. It’s almost like it’s intentional so you can try and call other people disingenuous etc.

          The voice has no power for the indigenous people it’s supposed to represent.

          The voice gives the government more power to do things that negatively affect indigenous people.

          This isn’t rocket science. Do you understand yet?
