    Fucking disgusting. Just leave the animals alone, the ocean is already fucked without these dickheads trying to speed up killing for the sake of “ethics”.

      The “speeding up” refers to trying to kill any individual whale faster to reduce suffering. There’s likely a hard cap on the total amount of whales that can be collected. (Although the article doesn’t mention this.)

      But yeah, ideally we just wouldn’t be hunting whales at all!

        Yeah I get that. I can see how the way I wrote it might be read as if their intent is to kill the ocean lol.

        IDEALLY we wouldn’t even be eating fish because their numbers are so depleted almost everywhere the ocean is on the brink of fucking collapsing on itself as an ecosystem.
