I feel like that whole side story with Sophie was just to keep Leary in the picture without repeating that same plot point.
Penelope is just completely out of the picture now too. It would have been nice to have seen her somehow escape the mental asylum, even if she doesn’t return to San Francisco.
I felt like a lot of the show has been repetitive.
Leary CONSTANTLY fighting for the Irish, then they start moaning “what have you done for us?”.
Ah Sahm CONSTANTLY risking his life to save Young Jun, then he starts moaning “you care more about your sister than me”.
Hong is CONSTANTLY sidelined despite being the best character in the show, and then I start moaning “gib back funni man”.
I love the show but shit needs to be shaken up next season. Also, more Hong.
