I think I can answer most of your questions by saying he comes over to discuss the lease in a Mercedes Maybach. An SUV that starts at $178,000.

I don’t think age or other things really matter at that point.

He owns multiple properties and houses.

But, still, my entire point is that this relationship in itself is what needs to die. It’s not this individual dudes fault. It’s a system that allows people like this to exist that produce nothing.

It’s so funny how someone can look at all the actions of Anti Imperialist history in Vietnam and then still go “communism bad though”.

Dude. You might want to wake up and realize that it’s literally the communist and socialist that the ones that fight against Imperialism everywhere.

You’re essentially saying: “Yeah, I love Pasta. But it’s a shame that the people that make the best Pasta are Italians.”

This is what communist do my friend.

  • No. It doesn’t. You rewrote one sentence I said and then pretended like that was the thesis of the comment.

The comment was talking about the use of force and military towards protests. I was pointing out the material difference between “weekend protesters” collecting in mass for a few hours and other people actively preventing ICE from leaving their facilities and being met with violence.

It wasn’t a “bash” on liberals. I want them to go out and do their mass protests. It does help them become radicalized to do more.

It was an explanation of WHY you won’t see high levels of police violence at these large “No Kings” style protest.

Because they don’t threaten the ability for ICE to hurt people. Are they good in other ways? Absolutely. But that wasn’t the point of my comment and it wasn’t what was being asked in the comment I replied to.

It’s the difference between a person holding up a sign that says “save the Forrest” and another person chaining themselves to the God damn tree.

That was my point. So, nothing you have said in response is at all being critical of what I actually said. You’re just straw manning.

Landlord said to me “property tax has gone up. This is my only form of income. Will need to increase rent”

Told him “yeah, everything has gone up and my paycheck is still the same”.

Like, these types of relationships are so parasitic. This is the “nice” mom and pop style landlord too that every liberal seems to want to give a pass too.

Sure, are they less bad than the big corporate faceless landlords? Yes. But the entire relationship is the problem.

They get to justify forcing me out of my home because the value of the house that they own WENT UP.

That’s why their property tax is more. They literally own something that is more valuable and making it further impossible for me to ever buy a place of my own.

  • This is acceptable to Israel. People in the west watching BBC or CNN seeing images like this is not though. It’s why they are now repeating the cycle of “letting in aid” that we are seeing now.

Any seemingly “moral” action that Israel takes is literally to ensure they can continue doing their genocide. Giving the west just enough coverage of aid trucks so their media can pretend that it’s no longer happening.

I am ashamed to live in this time of human history that we allow the people causing these images to remain in power and not have their heads placed on a spike (metaphorically of course).

  • I think Trump was pretty heavily involved. But from the evidence I have seen he did actually cut ties with Epstein earlier than most public figures we know about. This isn’t a defense of Trump but more of an analysis.

I think what leaks will be heavily weighed towards anything after he stopped actively being involved with Epstein. So, there is little risk to his involvement being exposed.

My guess, Trump is a petty little b****, and had a falling out with him for one reason or another. He’ll likely use this as a reason to say “he felt something was wrong and thought Epstein was creepy” so he cut ties. When in reality he probably cut ties because of his ego on some issue or another.

Now, this is not to say there is definitely not significantly more to this. This is a massive sex trafficking ring that involves many in the ruling class. Trump could absolutely still be involved (even today) but just stopped directly interacting with Epstein.

My guess is this type of sex trafficking is still being done to the same degree by another “Epstein”. These types of things don’t die with one pedophile as everyone in power wants us to believe.

  • If you completely lack class analysis. Sure.

Jews and minority groups are specifically used as scapegoats for the inequality and exploitation that capitalism causes. It’s why fascism is a defense of capitalism when it is in it’s in decline.

Pointing to the actual systemic causes is not a Nazi meme. And there has been no revolution in history in which the ruling class gave up power without first enacting violence on the lower class of society in order to maintain its power.

Threatening violence in response to the violence enacted by the ruling class is not a “Nazi meme”.

In a just world the ruling class today in America should be hung for their crimes of genocide.

  • This is one of those cases where I wish we had old time “punishment fits the crime” laws.

Don’t get me wrong. If we’re gonna have a systemic and capital punishment conversation I am absolutely for systems that rehabilitate and work towards reintegrating criminals into society. Failures like this are systemic failures that should really not be only blamed on the individual idiot that did this. We shouldn’t have a system that can literally lose a kid for hours. There should be no way for this to even happen. Even IF the person that did this specifically meant to kill the kid (which I hope not).

Having said that. My monkey brain wants the person that did this to have to sit in a hot car until they die.

  • These types of protest. While large and making national news are very unlikely to have that type of response.

These protest are liberals going out and feeling like they did something. Which is obviously better than liberals not going out at all.

The protests that get physical response are the ones that have the potential to build into larger and more active movements. Protest with simple goals like “prevent vehicles from leaving the ICE facility”. As someone that’s been to protest with that goal. 100-200 people with a real material goal are much more likely to have police response than a planned parade.

These “no kings” style protest are essentially just that: planned parades. And are directed through the city in very much the same way. Again, I am not against them. But they are not serving the same purpose.

The military is NOT being used because the size of protest are large. The military is being used as a political tool to form a narrative that justifies more use of violence against civilians.

They wont attack these “protest parades” filled with large amounts of people that are not directly effected by negative effects of their fascist policies. It is much better to keep them as once a month parade members than to risk radicalizing large amounts of them into full time activists if they ever felt the sting of tear gas.
