32f American ex-pat and scientist living in western Europe with anxiety, adhd, and [insert third thing that is a light-hearted contrast to the previous two items]
I have found in my experience that yes weed worsens my ADHD. However I’ve never been drug tested for it by my doctor. The only justifiable reason I could imagine would be if they put you on a medication where there are known drug interactions, or something, but even then it seems a bit odd to me. It sounds like this is an atmosphere that comes from their substance abuse specialization.
This is very cool and interesting, but I can’t help but think about how “everyone” here really means “wealthy people” with the way things are in the US right now
Woah, that was intense also!! I got pretty engrossed reading it and my (german) boyfriend asked about what I was reading so I gave him the highlights – a german family got stuck, they searched the obvious area, couldn’t find anything within a reasonable distance – and he was like, did they consider that germans walk a lot farther than normal people? 😅 so cool how the guy writing managed to figure out what happened.
I found that my side effects got better with time, but also i ended up taking other meds (prozac) to balance me out, especially with the anxiety and lack of appetite/feeling tired.
I’m not on adderal anymore (they don’t have it in the EU), I switched to vyvanse a couple years ago, and I find that the side effects are way milder. I’d say it’s not quite as effective as adderal, but I can take it every day (weekends too) without feeling like I’m on crack.

Nice! Yeah the second one is way better imo – a lot of these games involves grinding and they introduced the ability to run combat at double speed. I can no longer play the first one because it feels so painfully slow to me 😅

Very good question. They mention that the former CEO was epstein’s “friend” - maybe it was him, and someone found out? I really have no idea but yeah it’s really gross that these companies are involved, there had to be feigned ignorance for so long.

Digging it so far. Some technical issues but I think they may just be due to the mobile app I am using (sometimes when I open a post, the comments displayed are the ones from the last post I looked at). But it feels much more… Democratic? Than reddit did.
