I may be a little confused but I’ve got the spirit.
“Good results” meaning relevant results? DDG has tools that help fine-tune your search, and if you use them, you’ll probably have a better time. I’d suggest giving it another chance.
When it comes to location based services, certain integrations, and review systems, though, unfortunately I’d say Google is still the default, so there’s no shame in using it for that sort of thing—just choose your engine based on what you’re looking for. Firefox makes it easy.
I’ve been using PizzaBoy for a while and really like it, haven’t had any issues. It lets you adjust the UI and display to your liking, too.
Have you considered a GBA emulator? Hard to recommend anything without any details on what you like. I also like Card Thief and Mini Metro, so you could try those ig.
This could pass as genuine in a Portland OR subreddit, honestly.
I don’t know how many people here have actually been to a Cracker Barrel but I was forced to go by a family member once and to this day I remember how racist it felt in there–it was like walking into a cracker miasma.
It’s extremely rough. I had 4 years of serving experience at the time, had served in a variety of settings from nice sushi restaurants to dive bars. They fired me because of specific niche little things that their establishment specifically does a certain way, which makes it all the more frustrating.
On the Hexbears being articulate and educated front, I think it helps that users here will shred someone alive in the replies if they say unfunny, stupid shit.
All of them…?
It’s not just corporate jobs either. I was “training” (in quotes because they taught me fuck-all) to be a server at a fancy restaurant and show venue, and they let me go after my second day. Mind you, they only “trained” me for 4 hours tops my first night, and then threw me in for a full regular shift on my second day. Fired me because I didn’t nail absolutely everything perfectly first try. Made me want to commit arson.
Probably a blessing in disguise, considering the owner was a massive creep, but holy shit.
My lease renewal had a required “employer” section that includes contact information for said employer. That’s probably one way.
Not sure about changing the look, but tree tabs are super useful if you often find yourself with a bazillion tabs open.
Good cable management.
Putting this guy in the woods with a box of matches, a knife, and a go-pro. Leaning back in my chair and watching.
The pictures themselves are fine. It’s the fact that the posts are very similar, paid, and pushed to the front of a feed in a time when an ethnostate wearing the Jewish identity is carrying out a genocide on a captive population. It feels, as OP said, inorganic.
Of course the pictures could also be read as a reminder of what Jewish resistance really stood for, which would conversely carry a distinctly anti-Israel sentiment, and the optimist in me wants to believe that. I can’t see the comments on the posts, so I have no way of knowing for sure.
Oh my god that’s the instance that prompted me to post that tankie question the other day… So many things make sense now. I love being a newbie.
The yellow means the post or comment has received “gold.” Basically, people paying to boost or highlight the post. Screams bot activity to me, or at the very least a very unsubtle propaganda post made by some underpaid Israeli keyboard warrior trying to further associate anti-Zionism to anti-Semitism.
It ain’t much but it’s honest work.
Being a doomer takes less work.
If I have anything more than this on my desktop I get itchy.
