For VTT games, I used Fantasy Grounds with the core books, I just need to click on the spell to read it and cast it, and can drag them to my hotbar to instantly cast them from there like in an MMO. This option sadly is a lot pricier though, if you’ve already bought the books physical or for another VTT.

I would say XFCE and Cinnamon; no two XFCE’s look alike and Cinnamon can easily be molded into something very different as well.

I’ve been running Mint on my Dell XPS 9370 (methinks) for years and it’s always worked just fine. Only the fingerprint scanner just won’t work, not even with fprintd; it can set up a finger but never to use that same finger afterwards.
