(in mc as satire)English7·2 years agoI don’t think you should upload those to a forum called 1GBVidsOfRandomNoise. If Reddit finds out, it would be easy for them to remove all videos from the forum. Instead, you want to create many small forums that do not attract attention or upload the videos to your profile. The same with accounts, if you upload 100 random noise with one account, when they delete that account, the damage would be reversed. It would be better to do that with 10 different accounts (if they find and delete one, the other 9 might survice if they are unnoticed). (in mc as satire)10·2 years agoIf Reddit has to pay to maintain servers that has useless content or content that drives people away, they lose money. Imagine many people uploading only random noise, the company would lose lots of money. They would have to hire people to detect and remove noise or useless videos, because hosting costs money and that kind of content drives people away.

Also you can install MAME and download like 5000 arcade games from the 70, 80, 90, 2000.
I play libre games, like Project: Starfighter. Sometimes I help develop or fix something.
Because we wanted people to actually contribute.
That’s bullshit, Weblate projects have plenty of contributions. See article It is important for free software to use free software infrastructure.
Submit a pull request to GitLab, Codeberg, or Gitea then.
The official website links to GitHub, so you’re officially endorsing a privacy-invasive, non-free service. You just mirror it on Gitea, and there is no option there to send a pull request…
We haven’t written any hardware recommendations. https://github.com/privacyguides/privacyguides.org/issues/1899
The website says: “If you’re looking for a specific solution to something, these are the hardware and software tools we recommend in a variety of categories”.
Anyways, be constructive in the future, or leave.
So you’re the dictator who decides what’s constructive and what’s not?
