Exactly. I don’t fully understand this article but it seemed like it was saying the only way to solve the homeless crisis is to build housing as inexpensively as possible (in super polluted areas). There’s nothing new or good about slumlords housing people to farm money from the government.
Sorry but if there’s a for profit company “supplying” the housing I doubt their priority is the community their building in. We need social, subsidized, limited equity housing that gives people an affordable pathway to land ownership and wealth retention.
