Honestly, I kinda get it. It’s getting really hard to find real food. Fries taste WAY better cooked in lard. It used to be the norm, but is impossible to find now. Same with donuts or anything fried, really. Also gluten free stuff tastes like shit. I’m happy it became a trend for the actual celiacs out there though.

The other day a jeep wrangler swiped my car in a parking lot and drove off. I wasn’t there but a kind bystander saw it and left their number and the offenders license plate. The damage wasn’t small, but also small enough for me to shrug off because it’s a 2014 golf wagon and in the end it’s just a car.

But the hit and run pissed me off enough that I reported it. The cops found the driver who will be ticketed now and their insurance will go up. If they fessed up I’d have let it slide.

At least your dude fessed up. And yes, they’d all have a much easier time parking if they chose a sensible car.

More seriously, yeah it sucks there are so few practical vehicles being made that aren’t the size of an Asian elephant.

There is no world in which I’d see that truck without stealing the step stool.

Yeah, these ones are so useful in their simplicity. The handles are round, not ergo, which means I can change .y hand position easily and often. The non adjustable strap I thought would be a problem but it’s the opposite. I can dangle them straightdown to go low on the pole (ha), or wrap them around my wrist to go higher. And they are a nice thin breathable fabric. They are lighter than carbon poles and look cooler and pack tiny. Love them

I adore my aonijie multicolored aluminum poles. Best pole design I think I’ve ever used, and it’s an original design.

I use a keyboard remapper to change the key next to space (windows maybe? Not at my desk) to control. So acts like cmnd. You could do the same in reverse on mac instead. I also recommend changing right opt on mac to forward delete. Gamechanger, that one.

While I story of understand you anger, as there are some fools out there that are using their illegal ebikes effectively as motorcycles on bike paths and sidewalks, they are:

1. In the vast minority
2. On a 60lb vehicle, instead of a 3000lb vehicle, and can do far less damage as a result.

If you’re going to get angry, get angry at cars, car-centric infrastructure, and the fact that people on ebikes don’t have the proper cycling infrastructure to stay separated from pedestrians.

It’s like they put in so many roads to get “there” that “there” doesn’t exist anymore.

How’s it feel knowing your car fucks more than you do?

Good on them. I don’t have the appetite for risk right now to do this type of activism, as I have a family to think about, but I wish I had done more in my 20s (I did some but didn’t raise enough hell), and I intend to do a shitload more after I retire, if we’re all still around.
