A lot of the seats the conservatives are down to win they’ll only win by a very narrow margin. It only takes a little bit of tactical voting to take away a lot of those seats. I think only about 50 of them are definite wins for the conservatives.

We will see, but their support seems mostly theoretical. They don’t really have any actual policies and the only way they could think to gain any kind of legitimacy was to bring back the only person who has any real reputation (albeit not entirely universal). And that was despite the fact that they actually do have an MP, since he’s a total tit no one likes him.

It isn’t complacent it’s just a realistic observation of the facts. Their support is 12% at best but probably a lot less when the ballots actually accounted. People like to say they’ll vote one way on polls because they are really conservative voters and want to give the conservatives a kick up the arse.

It’s sold as a money making scheme not as an alternative form of currency. Yes you can’t really do one without doing the other but that point presupposes that you care who the other party is. Lots of people honestly don’t. If the Lib Dems were in the position that Labour are in I don’t think there would be that much difference in voting intention, except that all the people who intend to vote for Labour would be voting for the Lib Dems except for any constituencies where Labour were more likely to beat a Tory.

People are not voting for Labour because of their revolutionary ideas (unless you count basic competence as revolutionary, and even then it’s only theoretical). People who are voting tactically are doing so against the incumbent, not for any particular opposition. They will vote for whichever party has the highest chance of dethroning a sitting Conservative.

Ultimately there is no reason to recommend Labour over any other party unless they were Labor party members. Tactical voting is always against the incumbent, not for anyone. You can’t tactically vote for a party, except to just vote for them. But you can tactically vote against a party. So the original accusation that both OP made and in the linked subreddit is both nonsensical and utterly without evidence.

It’s always fake passport scams that I get, where they will offer people fake passports but of course they don’t actually have any capacity to make them, so they just take your money. Is there really a massive demand for fake passports all of a sudden?

I haven’t run a BB forum for probably well over 15 years but in my experience the best thing was to just limit the ability to post for 24 hours after the account is being created (that makes getting caught and banned a bit more of a pain point because they have to wait 24 hours before they can do anything again) combined with just blocking Russian and Chinese IP addresses.

It’s surprising how much rubbish that stops.
