No. Markets react to speculation. It’s ALL speculation.

It’s not so much the AI technology itself as it is the company behind it that’s the problem.
I used PayPal for a little while in the mid 2000’s to pay for stuff online until I found out they could freeze my bank account.
I immediately removed my bank account from PayPal and over time I got a credit card and it was easier to use. I kept it with only my credit card in my account to sometimes but stuff on eBay and that’s the only time I use it
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
My dad worked overtime all the time and I barely got to spend any time with him.
If I had kids I’d try my best not to reproduce that.
Man, I’ve been using the internet since 1994. Back then I started with CompuServe. Think like AOL but more beige. It had an instant messaging system and email and a portal with various pages on different topics. But you could also use a browser, like Mosaic or Netscape, to browse the internet. I used Alta Vista and Excite and Yahoo as search engines. There were also personal website that people wrote in basic HTML and hosted on Geocities and communities on specific topics would create webrings to link these sites together. We also used apps like Gopher and Usenet Newsgroups.
And before that it was BBS, bulletin board services, which were computers managed by strangers and you would just call them with your phone line modem using a terminal software and their system would pick up and establish a connection if it was available. You could access messages, emails, upload or download files, and some have you access to the internet if you were lucky.
That’s a good question.
Same in Canada.
…
Suddenly I really want to take my car and drive away.
Yeah forget it. My family won’t budge unfortunately. Apparently, I’m the one who’s problematic.
Oh for sure.
I just keep thinking about this case where a woman was arrested for an illegal abortion in Nebraska and their Facebook Messenger chat history being handed over after police got a mandate.
According to a sworn affidavit from Detective Ben McBride of the Norfolk Police Investigations Unit, police started with a tip from a woman who described herself as a friend of Celeste’s who said she saw her take the first pill in April.
The thing is, in this case you can get infected from ingesting cow milk from a cow that was infected. Once it gets into our food supply it can cause something like a flu bomb that’s going to kill a lot of people at once.
Vegans might have a better chance of surviving in this case.
I’ve read about this and it’s pretty bad. It you think COVID was bad, it was a walk in the park in comparison.

Edit:
I use Proton VPN. The free one let’s you connect to a US server, but I have a paid subscription. I have the client on my PC and on my android phone.
I just hate how they guilt trip me afterwards for not being at a family event because I missed a message that was sent two weeks ago sandwiched between 40 pictures of my niece.
Very good point
Nah it’s just there’s people on here who believe anyone defending anybody that’s communist is a tankie. I’m pretty left leaning and anti capitalist but not to the point where I would support China or Russia or some stupid shit like that.
Not to sound like a tankie, but at least Fidel Castro cared about his people and their well being.
My family communicated exclusively through a Facebook Messenger group chat and my sister keeps posting pictures of her daughter so all the important stuff goes way up in the history. I don’t even have Facebook Messenger on my phone. I rarely if ever check the messages because I’ve removed Facebook from my life.
C’est vrai. Mais notre français québécois et nos accents se perdent. Principalement à cause de combien on s’est moqué de nous au fil de l’histoire et aussi à cause de l’Internet.
