Keep in mind, these people don’t need more money.
Keep in mind, these people don’t need more money.
The best way is for people to stop trying to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible.
It’s not about keeping the lights on, putting kids through school, or putting bread on the table. It’s about living as luxurious a life as possible with as little effort as possible. That’s it.
If these people were forced to do more with less, they would because they have no other choice. They have other choices, so that’s what they take.
I’m sorry, but people like you are actually helping them by peddling the narrative that they need this money. They don’t. Plenty of people work harder than them for less because they have no choice.
We need to stop giving businesses decisions on how to f**k us and just band together with higher standards so they make less profit.
Everyone who gives them money should be seen as a class traitor, because that’s what they are.
Thanks. Gonna try this out.
Err… what about the people in Haiti? Or everywhere else that’s significantly worse than the WHITE part of south africa?
The penalty for this always needs to outweigh whatever additional profit was made for cutting corners.
It won’t, but it should.
Hamas has always been pretty good to their captives.
Not sure how much I believe this. We’ll have to hear from the captives themselves.
It’s really just the israeli people at this point.
All of them have the capacity to leave, but they choose not to. It’s not cheap living in Israel.
It’s definitely just me, but I think every event like this is just for consumers that don’t know any better.
It’s sad watching fully-grown adults get googly-eyed over things like this, but here we are.
I’m all for giving them a chance, but I won’t hold my breath.
Good question. My honest answer is 🧩.
I’ve seen it enough in the tech sphere to recognize it for what it is.
So glad I left that censorship shithole.
What makes you think his children won’t be just as bad if not worse than him?
The sooner someone Luigi’s him the better
I dunno. His kids are just going to inherit his wealth and feel entitled to have our kids serve them.
Think we need to take note of Luigi’s heritage if we’re truly going to go after these oligarchs; the Italian mob would also go after their families so there’s nobody left to seek revenge.

I’m actually referring to both. Instance owners are afraid to allow users to host content and they’re afraid to link to servers that host content.
Remember, federation is copying, not creating some kind of remote view.
Is this true? It’s my understanding that, lemmy for example, has the protocol in place for servers to communicate their content with each other, but each server’s content is hosted separately.
Are you saying all federated services copy each other’s data instead of only linking to it?
No, I don’t think it’s anywhere near that bad.
I just think that going forward, Peertube developers and instance owners should make the platform more accessible and interconnected.
It’s a bigger responsibility to actually host content instead of just links to content, which I don’t think most peertube instance owners can handle.
Yes. Having the OPTION is great.
Err… couldn’t the corporation just make less profit but still provide the service as-is?
