  • They already had the reveal that gov bodies knew about all the details of the attack in advance,

I don’t buy this when they say it. If you’re referring to that New York Times article where Israeli intelligence basically claimed to have the Oct. 7 Hamas attack handbook, then yeah it’s all BS in my opinion. Mouin Rabbani, when talking to Rania Khalek, said it best:

now of course um in addition to operation sword of iron which is um the operational name of the Israeli Onslaught on the Gaza Strip there’s an equally important operation being conducted which is known as operation cover your ass in which every Israeli official and their brother claims to have known exactly what was going to happen warned everyone about it but it was someone else’s fault that they didn’t do anything um I don’t take these issues uh seriously I mean you even had a long article in the New York Times um that the Israelis actually had a copy of Hamas’s Master planning document for the um uh October 7th attack but maybe they thought it was a short story I don’t know um you know first of all I very much doubt whether such a document even exists um it was probably written by someone in the Israeli intelligence agents to give to the New York Times to show that you know it wasn’t us you need to talk to it was a fault of the politicians or it was a fault of the army um and then you had a um a day or two later an article in the Jerusalem Post which even though operating under rules of Israeli military censorship I thought was much more accurate that they had no information which is why they were um unable to prepare

    I like Rania’s reply too:

yeah it’s uh you know you could just imagine if you’re uh involved in some sort of militant activity and you’re preparing a very secret operation that nobody knows about but you definitely wrote it all down and somehow you know it ended up in the hands of the Israelis I mean it’s it’s kind of absurd on its face

(at 24:55 to about 26:25) in the same vid above.

  • Ok so when China supposedly “genocides” uighurs (which has been thoroughly debunked), it’s ok to call it genocide?

But when the word is used against what IS actually a genocide against the Palestinians, well then it’s all (in annoying reddit nerd voice): “UMm, Ackshually… we shouldn’t be using that word anymore! I AM VERY SMART!!! PLEASE FEEEMALES DATE ME!!!”

Maybe there’s a deeper discussion to be had on when the word is appropriate to use, but this article is 100000000000000% only doing it because they are worried about the term being applied to Israel. They are not having a good faith discussion about this. They are weaponizing this sort of philosophizing to obfuscate their real objectives. fuck them, don’t engage with this obvious ploy, just make fun of them until they run away crying

  • Most ppl use online now and as a guy online is a nightmare (unless you’re in the top 5-10% of guys in terms of looks, since that’s pretty much the only thing you’re judged by online). You’re gonna get barely any matches and out of those you are barely going to get any dates. If you’re a girl you may find it hard to find an actually good guy, but you won’t be wont for attention. Various studies have pretty much confirmed this. If this continues, then I only foresee a dark future ahead, as guys like Andrew Tate will funnel that frustration into their own movements. I posted a good video about this a while back: https://hexbear.net/post/613122 but it barely got any enagement, which makes me think leftists as a whole don’t want to face men’s loneliness issues on anything but a surface level.

  • I mean you do have to be tactical when talking to others. You need to gauge what level they are roughly at before you use certain “buzzwords.” For example, you might want to say an industry is “mostly dominated by guys” instead of using phrases like “white cis male patriarchy” with some people because it WILL trigger them. Same thing when talking about racism. We all know what “white supremacy” means but to your average normie they think only of the KKK and stuff like that. Same with terms like “systemic racism” or whatever. I hate to say it, but it’s kind of a game of cat and mouse. We always have to be ready to phrase things differently because once we settle on something, the right will figure it out and then run their media on overdrive to let their base know what buzzwords to watch out for.

I mean before I was where I am today just saying Stalin or Mao would have triggered me to think of the “millions that died” or whatever. At some point you do have to be open about your views but that doesn’t mean you need to bombard someone immediately with words like “bourgeoisie” or “dictatorship of the proletariat” or “means of production” right from the get go. Even something as banal as “material conditions” requires the other person to kind of already know what you’re talking about in the first place.
