Group think and tribalism is very powerful. I used to be a Trump supporter and I remember thinking about how women were more likely to vote for progressive candidates with the conclusion that perhaps they shouldn’t be doing that. This is a very important article. When talking to someone on the other side first find common ground. When having a conversation with someone both you and the other person must listen to and respect each other. Finding common ground before talking about your differences can be a great way to help achieve that.
