  • Personally, I like it way more than 3. I could never get into the older games (including 3). Others say it’s a “reskin of 3” which I think is kind of ridiculous.

The story so far is actually pretty intriguing. I mean, it’s not mind-blowing, I’m pretty sure of what will happen, but it’s still good for a game in this genre.

Replayability is really endless, but, I don’t know if I’d say it has more replayability than the older games, it just may be more replayable for you if you like it more.

  • Pop!_OS. I have always loved System76 and have one of their laptops, as well as an HP Dev One that I use as a daily driver. The convenience and tiling system of the distro is the simplest I’ve used so far and works perfectly. I used to run Arch but I just don’t want to deal with it anymore, honestly.

  • Well, it’s always multiplayer, meaning you will see people out in the world constantly. A lot of content (like dungeons) is instanced to your party, though, so you won’t see randoms where it really matters. Personally, I have only played solo so far except for the aforementioned randoms :). I’m sure it would be very fun with others, though!

  • Diablo 4! I find it oddly relaxing in my current state of mind. At first I was adamant about listening to the soundtrack and all the voice acting but I’ve found I enjoy it way more by just reading the story and listening to my own music.

I’ve got a necromancer and a sorcerer. Necromancer is incredibly easier, to the point I haven’t touched the sorcerer since I made it. I will probably make another character soon, not sure what.

  • Truly appreciate you setting this up. I do have a question and readily admit I have not looked elsewhere, but, since you may be offering to answer: could I set up a “private” instance for me and a few friends that closes registration but is open to the rest of the fediverse? I assume so since a lot of the main sites seem to be slowing registration down but I am just curious how it all works. Would be a fun experiment for me.

Also, how difficult is it to manage from a sysadmin point of view?
